Transporteam - Frequently Asked Questions
How does your vehicle shipping work?
How does your vehicle shipping work?
It’s a quick and simple process. As soon as we receive your paperwork and deposit, we’ll schedule your vehicle’s transportation, using the dates stipulated on the shipping order itself.
Once your vehicle has been assigned a transportation truck, you’ll be contacted by the driver – together, the two of you can confirm a convenient time. Once your driver arrives for collection, they’ll perform a thorough check of your vehicle; you will then be asked to sign a Bill of Lading (for both your and our benefit).
When your vehicle is delivered, this same document will be provided for you to inspect your vehicle and confirm its condition. We only hire drivers dedicated to ensuring your vehicle arrives safely, securely, and exactly as it was to begin with.
However, in the rare case of any damage (no matter how minor) occurring in transit, you MUST report this on the Bill of Lading.
Will my vehicle be insured during its shipment?

How long does it take you to collect and deliver a vehicle?
We strive to deliver vehicles as quickly as we possibly can. This all depends on distances, of course, with shipment from one coast to another taking no longer than 14 days. For shorter distances, we typically forecast a period of between one day and one week.
Where will collection and delivery take place?
Where will collection and delivery take place?
Our door to door service means we will collect your vehicle from your home, or as close to it as possible. However, in some cases, we may be unable to run the truck through busy residential areas.
As a result, we may need to collect or deliver from a local site which offers a more suitable space.
We always ask whether you expect any obstacles or impediments to restrict our ability to collect or deliver your vehicle. Please bear this in mind when arranging your vehicle’s transportation.
Is there any way for me to know my vehicle’s location?
